Should I quit smoking? But why...?

If you are collecting motives to quit smoking, then there are 7 reasons "FOR" quitting.

You will get rid of not only smoking, but also the following consequences:

Quit smoking?

We will help you do it!

Quitting smoking - it is not difficult at all! Quitting smoking is possible! Not smoking - yes, you need to!

All you have to do is understand that you really want to regain your health and money, want to enjoy life and be free from slavish addiction.

Method

In both traditional (academic) and non-traditional (holistic) medicine, patients can be helped to get rid of the smoking habit in quite a few ways. If treatment is with medication, then there are three types:
- aversive (disgusting) therapy,
- replacement therapy,
- supportive, or symptomatic therapy.

In our center, in turn, treatment with acupuncture, or needle therapy, is practiced.

Why does needle therapy help to quit smoking?

One other believes that needle therapy does not help in this case. Because, here, Bērziņu Kārlis said that he went to acupuncture, but immediately after the session he smoked a cigarette. True, he forgot to add that he himself does not want to quit smoking, it does not matter to him, and, in his opinion, smoking is not particularly harmful - there are much worse things. If someone thinks so, then it is not worth seeking help from a doctor.

What is the essence of acupuncture?

In ancient times, the Chinese, who invented acupuncture, believed that the human body is permeated with energy channels and contains energy points. There are more than 600 of them in total, and each point or group of points is “tied” to certain sectors of the nervous system. If these points are acted on with thin needles, then energy flows can be directed in the desired direction and prevent both acute pain and chronic diseases.

In the case of smoking, an acupuncturist inserts needles into points that are connected to those areas of the brain that “determine” nicotine addiction, and the smoker completely gets rid of this habit.

The beginnings of acupuncture in the treatment of smokers can be traced back to Ancient Egypt and China about 3,000 years ago. In Europe, this method has become known thanks to the French scientists Nogier and Burdiol (1968), who used it in France, within the framework of the “Antitabak” program in 1975.

Treatment of smoking addiction with acupuncture therapy is completely harmless. It is suitable for weakened people, patients, adolescents, pregnant women and also those whose smoking experience is 20 - 25 years

Currently, this method is widely used in European, Asian and American countries. In the USA, treatment of tobacco addiction with acupuncture is included in health insurance programs.

Needle insertion in this case occurs only in the cochlea.

In order to start the treatment, a prerequisite must be met: a smoking break of 20 hours from the moment of smoking the last cigarette until the start of the session.

During the second and subsequent procedures, depending on the individual characteristics of the patient, the doctor acts on additional points on the body to improve well-being and adjust the course of treatment. This would be necessary, for example, if a person feels restless, irritable or constantly hungry.

How many acupuncture sessions are needed to quit smoking?

It depends on the individual characteristics of each person. Some respond significantly better to treatment than others. Usually 5 sessions are enough. The only way to specify this number is to start treatment.

What are the benefits of acupuncture in treating smoking addiction?

Acupuncture not only helps to quit smoking, but also usually improves your general health. Of course, your health will undoubtedly improve after you quit smoking, but with acupuncture treatment this effect will be more pronounced.

Acupuncture doctor Aleksey Radchenko has been practicing acupuncture to eliminate tobacco addiction for more than 7 years.

The doctor's experience shows that in 80% of cases the acupuncture method is effective, i.e. 8 out of 10 people get rid of the smoking habit, and without any side effects or other harm to health, without weight gain, discomfort, loss of strength or anxiety. After quitting smoking, the body's reorganization occurs naturally, while maintaining a sense of comfort.

What is known about the 2 out of 10 people who have not been helped by this method? The reason is one of the following factors (or, as is more common, a combination of them):
the patient has not followed the doctor's recommendations;
the situation at home: relatives are not supportive, many of them smoke themselves;
the person is subject to anxiety and stress;
other unhealthy passions: alcohol consumption, a tendency to drink a lot of coffee, gambling addiction.

The statistics of treatment cases show that this method is equally effective in helping both men and women, and at different ages and with different lengths of smoking experience.

However, there is something even more important that must be mentioned: a doctor can only help those who have already clearly decided to quit smoking and have set themselves this goal.

Recommendations

Quit smoking on the day and time you choose - no earlier, no later.

Here are some tips:

  • Get rid of all the attributes that remind you of smoking.

  • Never tell others: “I will quit smoking now.”

  • Since the urge to smoke comes in waves, try to endure these “attacks” without smoking.

  • You cannot quit smoking gradually, you have to do it all at once, completely, and forever.

  • Avoid people and situations that tempt you to smoke. If you like to smoke while sitting in a certain chair, then do not sit in that chair.

  • Do not allow yourself to be overworked, inactive, lonely, or very hungry.

  • Do not drink alcohol while you are quitting smoking.

  • To activate the elimination of toxins from the body, drink plenty of fluids, but observe stricter limits on the use of tea and coffee.

  • In addition, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.

  • Do not forget to walk in the fresh air.

  • You need to sleep a healthy 8 hours.

  • Exercise regularly.

  • Use aids as needed (chewing gum, patches, bracelets, herbal remedies, etc.)

  • Maintain a positive mindset.

  • The greatest reward awaits you.

    Folk recipe

You can use a recipe known in folk medicine (a drink with additives that reduce the desire to smoke): take 1 teaspoon of dry tea, ½ teaspoon of chicory, ½ teaspoon of dry mint, ¼ teaspoon of honey, ¼ teaspoon of chopped valerian root, mix all the ingredients and store in a dry, tightly closed container. Then, rinse the teapot well, pour 1 teaspoon of the mixture into it, pour 2 cups of boiling water and let it brew for 8 to 10 minutes. While drinking this “balm tea”, eat a snack. Preparation of the supplement: grate 1 tablespoon of uncooked beets, add 1 teaspoon of well-washed raisins, 1 teaspoon of honey and ¼ of finely chopped lemon to it, mix everything and eat with tea. Such tea with the supplement should be consumed for several days in a row during the stages that are most difficult for a former smoker to endure (for example, on the first, second and third day).

Good health, wonderful well-being, attractive complexion, freshness in the breath!

I would like to add something on my own behalf!
I used to smoke myself, for 25 years. The last five of those years I spent smoking a pack a day. At that time I was starting to get really tired of the “freedom” that smoking causes. But it didn’t even occur to me that there was a real possibility of quitting smoking, I couldn’t believe it.

I didn’t believe it until I met a doctor and this treatment method. Then I finally got the hang of it, and – I succeeded!!!!

I succeeded without any willpower (I don’t have any willpower)!
I didn’t have any anxiety, nervous breakdowns or “psychosis”, and I didn’t have to go through “breaking” or gain weight.
It came out as easy as if I had never smoked at all.

It’s really easy and very, very exciting!

I haven’t smoked for 8 years! Try it too. You will definitely succeed!
